Road Trip Travel Gear Check List for the Great American Road Trip 2.0

Josh Smith from Notebooks.com just started a great adventure across the USA. I can tell you that it is not just a road trip where you toss all your stuff in your car and hope that you did not forget too many things. This one has been meticulously planned and every piece of equipment has been carefully selected and has a real purpose. Can't help but admire the cool tech selection and hope Josh will also check his fun check list too

"The Great American Road Trip 2.0 is about to kick off here at Notebooks.com and we have worked hard to pull together some of the coolest mobile tech to keep allow for a fun and connected trip. By the time you are reading this my wife and I will be on the open road for our 20-hour tip to Mount Rushmore in a car full of the coolest tech, and a pretty techy car too!"

Check out Josh's travel gear selection, the travel bag itself seems pretty ingenious and full of pockets and protection : Mobile Edge EVO Bag  demo video.
I have to say that the Cradlepoint PHS300 with Sprint Modem caught my attention as I am traveling right now in Europe and as Josh said in his latest post, some hotels charge a ridiculous fee for Wifi sometimes. It looks like a great device and I wonder if it works in any country (it turns a 3G or 4G USB modem into a Wifi Router that can connect up to 16 devices).

Are you preparing a trip or are you just curious about what Josh selected for his trip? Check it out on netbook.com and see what's in the car.

The Mount Rushmore  picture of Josh and his wife with the Presidents in the background is awesome...
Thank you Josh for sharing your XShot love! "The XShot 2.0 is definitely one of the coolest camera accessories that you should take on vacation".
