The belt clip can be used in many other ways like on a plane to attach your iPhone to the seat pocket in front of you and not be afraid to forget it at the bottom of the pocket or have it drop.

David Garland shares many "non boring resources for building your business" in The rise to the Top and he did an amazing job gathering all you may need to venture in the sometimes scary Online Video World.
"So, you decide to jump into the wonderful and wacky world of online content creating for your business. You are going to become your own media source and a trusted resource not just pushing your product at people, but instead educating, entertaining and inspiring. To get started, you have to have the right tools. Of course, your budget might vary, but I’ve always preferred the smarter, faster, cheaper approach to the dumber, slower, expensive approach (and trust me I’ve experimented with both and have learned from my mistakes). Why buy stuff you don’t need? The key here is many people are overwhelmed by the technology to get stated. Don't be." said David. |
Kayak fishing is a great sport for the avid fishermen, the family guy or the Kayaker learning about fishing... it is more technical than fishing with a boat... For kayak fishing fanatics, holding the camera steady in one hand and gripping the fish with the other to capture a photo of their prized catch proved to be just about impossible.
|
With help from our Canadian kayak angler friends, Jeffrey Goudreau and Don Theoret, we created the ultimate kayak fishing photography accessory that attaches your camera securely to the kayak allowing you to photograph yourself and record your fishing adventures without the fear of dropping your camera - or more importantly, your fish - in the water. The XShot Kayak Mount was created to be used with the XShot 2.0 camera extender, which was voted as “Kayak Fishing's Camera Accessory of the Year 2009'” by Yakfisher.net. “Many of us do a lot of self-photography while out fishing and this product has been a real savior. It beats having to take a picture of the fish flopping on our laps; we can now actually be in the picture.” said Don.

The MyGloss team was pretty excited about the mini flex tripod that comes with the XShot iPhone Case and their wish will be granted as it will soon be available on its own as well. We will keep you posted.
"It’s a simple concept: a long rod that attaches to your camera so you can take self-portraits from afar without having to ask a stranger. But the XShot is a souped-up version, designed with lots of features that are surprisingly pretty darn cool."

During
a trip to France, Michael Daoud, the co-founder of XShot, found it
difficult to take pictures of him and his wife while sightseeing.
Michael would hold the camera and extend his arm as far as possible to
take a picture of he and his wife but the result was always
disappointing, especially if they were trying to capture the background
in the picture.
The idea for the XShot came to Michael when he was at a park in front of the famous Louvre Museum in Paris. Michael tried to capture a photo of him and his wife with the Louvre in the background but because the camera was only at arm’s length and so close to their faces, only a small part of the Louvre Museum was in the picture. Michael realized that if his arm was a little longer he could take much better pictures. As a result he came up with the idea of having a telescopic arm that could hold the camera and be extended to take a full picture of the subjects and the background. Michael enlisted the help of his friend John Stump, an inventor and mechanical engineer, and XShot was born. |
